Over the New Year's period, one group of divers had the pleasure of exploring the underwater world of Myanmar from an upgraded boat complete with a jacuzzi. The meals served on board were described as amazing, and the dives were well planned, making for an enjoyable experience.

The live-aboard experience is one that many master scuba divers have enjoyed. From the moment they were picked up from their hotel in Ranong to the moment they were dropped back seven days later, the experience was described as amazing. The process of getting the necessary paperwork for the visa to Myanmar was made simple and painless by the helpful staff at the dive shop. The boat was spacious, allowing the divers plenty of room to spread out.

The dive master, Billy, was praised for his experience and emphasis on safety. He led the dive briefings and ensured that the divers never felt rushed at a site. He was also quick to assist when any issues arose during the dives. The crew on the boat were also exceptional, with Captain Jack always positioning the boat perfectly for each dive. The chef on board was commended for her delicious meals and for going the extra mile to cater to the needs of a sick diver. The crew on the dive deck were very attentive, always ready to assist with everything from filling the tanks to helping with the shoulder straps on the BCD.

However, not all experiences were positive. Some divers found the dive master leader to be lazy and felt that the briefings were too short and lacked detail. They also felt that the dive master leader was not taking care of the open water and that this was potentially dangerous.

Despite these concerns, many divers found their first trip diving in Myanmar to be a positive experience. The Sea World 1, led by Billy and Bank, was described as a well-geared dive boat at a very reasonable price. The boat's hands were praised for their helpfulness and the food was highly commended. The dive sites, such as Black Rock and Western Rocky, were described as impressive.
