AlpacaHill, the first alpaca farm in Thailand, is a unique destination that offers a close-up encounter with friendly exotic animals. This small petting farm is a great learning experience for children and a fun family trip. The farm offers a variety of activities such as zipline and rope courses, electric ATV, horse riding, and many other fun activities for the young ones to explore.The farm was a hit when it first opened years ago, with families flocking to meet the charming alpacas and other animals. However, some visitors have noted that the farm has lost some of its initial charm. The variety and number of animals have decreased, with only one old alpaca often seen sitting in front of an electric fan. The farm also houses an old owl that needs care. Despite these changes, the farm still holds potential, especially as tourists are returning to the area.
Despite these concerns, many still consider AlpacaHill as one of the best animal farms in Thailand. The farm is well-protected and deeply cares for its animals. For a price of 290 baht per person, visitors can enjoy a day at the farm, which many consider a bargain.
AlpacaHill is particularly suitable for families with kids. The open farm houses many different animals and pets that kids can feed, cuddle, and pat. The farm also offers an activity sheet that kids can use to collect stamps at every station after completion. This activity not only keeps the kids entertained but also introduces them to many animals they may not have seen or heard before.
The farm is also a great place to enjoy nature. It is recommended to visit during the early morning as it can get really hot during noon. The farm offers a great experience of touching and feeding the animals, which children particularly enjoy.
Located in the Suan Phung district in the province of Ratchaburi, AlpacaHill is a local favorite. The district is a Thai favorite due to its pleasant climate and green landscape. The farm houses various tame and cuddly animals, including snowy owls, hamsters, guinea pigs, peacocks, ostriches, alpacas, cockatoos, prairie dogs, marmosets, rabbits, sugar gliders, hedgehogs, ferrets, Patagonian maras, capybaras, tortoises, wallabies, geese, swans, flamingos, chinchillas, Persian cats, and sheep.
Visitors can purchase a VIP ticket for 290 Thai Baht per adult, which includes an orange lanyard and tag, and a recycled bag. For an extra 100 Thai Baht, visitors can buy long beans to feed the alpacas. The farm also has a souvenir shop, a toilet, a snack and drink shop named Alpaca Bristo, and several drink stalls.
AlpacaHill is a must-visit place in Bangkok. Visitors often leave with unforgettable memories. The staff at the farm are friendly, kind, and very helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. The farm is a place that many visitors would love to return to with friends and family.
