Art Street, once a bustling hub of creativity and color, now stands mostly deserted and abandoned. The once vibrant street is now home to only a handful of tattoo parlors, a stark contrast to its former glory. However, for those willing to venture a little further, there are still some gems to be discovered. Near the far end of the beach side street, close to Thappraya Road, one can find a few charming painting shops. Among these, John Gallery stands out as a beacon of artistic talent and is definitely worth a visit.For those looking to satiate their hunger after a day of exploring, SWEETIE PIES cafe is a must-visit. Known for its excellent fresh fruit salad and arguably the best coffee in town, this quaint cafe is run by the friendliest Thai family in Pattaya. The warm and welcoming atmosphere of the cafe is sure to make every visitor feel at home.
While the number of art shops on Art Street has dwindled over the years, the ones that remain still showcase some truly talented pieces. The transformation of the street into a hub for tattoo parlors has not completely overshadowed the artistic spirit of the place. Visitors can still find beautiful and colorful paintings to admire or purchase.
Tucked away next to Mike Shopping Mall, this little walkway is a hidden treasure in Pattaya. Despite the dominance of tattoo shops, there are still plenty of artists at work, creating beautiful pieces of art.
