About Baanchang Elephant Park

Visiting the elephant park is a truly moving and unforgettable experience. The team that looks after these magnificent creatures is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Visitors have the opportunity to have full contact with the elephants, including feeding, washing, and walking alongside them. This close interaction with the elephants is often described as one of the best experiences visitors have ever had, and is definitely a moment that leaves one in awe.

The experience is suitable for families, even those with young children. A day at the park offers an amazing opportunity to feed, pet, hug, wash, and scrub the elephants. The guides are very knowledgeable and patient, especially with children. Although the experience may seem expensive, the value received in return is definitely worth it, and the money spent goes to a good cause.

The park is a wonderful place to spend a day, and is often a highlight for those visiting Thailand. Visitors spend the day taking care of the elephants, learning about these special creatures, and enjoying the beautiful sanctuary. The experience is often described as one of the most beautiful ever lived. The elephants are well kept and not stressed, and the staff are helpful and nice. The guides are experts and everything is organized down to the smallest detail.

The experience is often the highlight of a trip. The guides start by educating visitors about the elephants, their history, and how they came to spend the remainder of their lives in the park. Visitors get to observe how the Mahoots treat their elephants as if they were their own children. The day is spent caring for the elephants, feeding them, walking them into the hills, preparing vitamin-rich food for them, and even bathing and brushing them. The experience is often described as an experience of a lifetime.

The park also offers a half-day tour, which is a fantastic experience for families, even those with young children. Visitors have plenty of time to interact with the elephants, and the experience often exceeds expectations.

However, not all experiences at the park are positive. Some visitors have reported witnessing animals being mistreated. They claim that the elephants are chained to the floor by one foot with half a meter chains, and are left in the boiling sun without shade. They also claim that the elephants are made to perform unnatural acts, such as getting up and down on command, and are taken on long walks in the heat. Some visitors have also reported seeing the elephants being hit with a bull hook to make them perform tricks in the water. These negative experiences have led some visitors to question whether the park is truly a sanctuary for the elephants, or just another tourist attraction.
