The once bustling attraction has seen a significant decrease in visitors due to the Covid pandemic. Many of its facilities, including restaurants, gift shops, and parks, have been temporarily closed. However, the tower remains open, offering a fantastic view of the city and its surroundings.

The Banharn Jamsai Tower, standing at 123.25 meters high, is the tallest observation deck tower in Suphanburi, Thailand. Although it is not as tall as the Baiyoke Tower in Bangkok, it offers unparalleled 360-degree views of Suphanburi City and its surroundings. On a clear day, one can see up to 50 km away. The tower is located in a well-maintained park, complete with a palm garden, waterfalls, carp ponds, a water fountain plaza, a kid's playground, and a Buddhist shrine.

The tower is a highlight for many visitors to Suphanburi. For a small fee, one can see the entire city from all angles. It is particularly impressive at night when it is lit up. The tower is surrounded by a beautiful park, which has an admission fee of 10 Baht during the day. The park is filled with greenery, a large multi-level waterfall, a pond with stones, various sculptures, and seats for visitors to rest.

The tower offers a unique experience for visitors. The lift operator takes you to the 4th floor where you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the city and beyond. There are also some exhibits at this level. You then walk down the stairs to the 3rd floor where there are souvenirs and other goods on sale. Next, you go back to the lift where the lift operator takes you to the second floor where there is a 360-degree café selling drinks, meals, and ice cream among other things. After this, you return to the ground floor again. It is a very pleasant way of spending an hour or two.

The tower is conveniently located right in town. On a clear day, you can see as far as Uthong from the tower. There is a coffee shop on the tower where you can enjoy the sight and sip on a cup of coffee. However, the coffee may not be to everyone's taste.

The 123m high tower, which can be seen from far outside Suphanburi city, is Thailand's first and highest viewpoint. It has four viewing decks with telescopes available on the decks. The entrance fee is only B40 and the tower is open every day except on Monday. The interior is decorated with some nice murals of King Neresuan the Great. The park with fountains around the tower is a nice place for a stroll.
