Betong Hot Springs, located just a few kilometers away from the town of Betong, is a charming destination that has attracted many visitors over the years. Despite some unsightly construction, the place has a certain allure that is hard to resist. Visitors can soak their feet in the warm waters, boil eggs, and take pictures of the statues and the Japanese gates. The site also boasts an OTOP store, which is arguably the most well-stocked souvenir store in Betong.

However, some visitors have expressed disappointment with the temperature of the hot spring water, which was not as hot as expected. This was particularly true for those who were looking forward to soaking their feet after a long day of sightseeing. Despite this, the hot springs are still considered a good place for family gatherings, with children often seen swimming in the pool. The local stalls offer a variety of food options, including tapioca and pancakes, although some may find the latter too sweet.

Cleanliness is a concern for some visitors to the hot springs. The larger pond of smoky spring water is often too hot for dipping, leading many to the smaller sheltered pavilion. However, the knee-height water in this area is often not warm enough to provide the desired relief for tired legs. Some visitors have also raised concerns about the cleanliness of the water, particularly when locals are seen bathing in the springs.

Despite being free of charge, the hot springs are a bit run down and the water does not always appear clean. As a result, many people opt to soak their legs rather than fully immerse themselves. Visitors can buy eggs from nearby stalls to cook in the hot springs, although the selection of the pond is critical as some are not hot enough. Some visitors have raised concerns about the hygiene of this practice, as the plastic bags used to hold the eggs are often soaked in the hot water and may melt.

Set a few kilometers out of the main town on the Yala Road, the hot springs are located in a pretty village that has grown up around them. The venue is old but serviceable, with a tourist shop and cafes nearby. The hot springs themselves are quite large, and while some brave souls fully immerse themselves, most visitors can only manage to dip their feet in due to the heat.

Betong Hot Springs is situated at Ban Charo Parai Village, Tambon Tano Mae Ro, about 10km from Betong Town center. There is a resort where visitors can enjoy a hot spring spa, or stop by for a free foot spa at the second pond. The main pond is hot and not suitable for bathing, but there are three smaller wells where visitors can boil eggs. There are also several stalls selling drinks, food, traditional medicine, and souvenirs. Parking is available on the road or at the souvenir shop's car park.
