About Blue Tree Phuket
Blue Tree is a family-friendly amusement park located in the beautiful Phuket, Thailand. With a single ticket, visitors can enjoy everything the lagoon has to offer, making it a top destination for those vacationing in Thailand. The park offers an immersive experience both day and night, serving as a complete entertainment and activity center for all ages.Blue Tree Phuket is home to Thailand’s largest Crystal Lagoon, which includes Thailand’s longest Superfly, a water jump, a covered open-air amphitheater arena, a lifestyle shopping village, and a huge natural Forest Park with various fitness and sporting activities. It is a recreation park and entertainment hub designed to thrill and chill, day and night. However, visitors should be prepared for potentially slow food service and are advised to order early. The park does not allow any outside food or drinks, so visitors should be prepared for this policy.
The park is a bold endeavor, funded by the world-renowned luxury watchmaker, Patek Philippe. The location may seem a bit unusual, but it has certainly caused a stir locally with a huge 3 Rai Lido. The Lido complements hundreds of shops, numerous restaurants, and entertainment places. Despite some negative publicity, it is still worth a visit and is very much in the development phase with many of the retail outlets not yet open.
Visitors should be aware that a day at Blue Tree can be quite expensive. Some activities, such as the Flying Trapeze, require an additional fee on top of the all-activities pass. Food and drinks inside the park are also quite pricey, and visitors are not allowed to bring in their own water bottles. Despite the cost, there are many fun activities at Blue Tree, but visitors should be prepared for the expense.
Despite the cost, many visitors find the experience at Blue Tree to be enjoyable and worth a return visit. The water park section is a popular attraction, and the restaurant, despite being a bit pricier than other local options, offers delicious food. The park is filled with activities that can keep visitors busy for most of the day, and there are plenty of sunbeds around the giant pool for those who need a rest.
However, some visitors have expressed dissatisfaction with the park's focus on additional costs. For example, the ice skating activity requires not only a ticket but also the purchase of socks, and the surface is not actual ice but a kind of platform. The park is largely concrete, which can get quite hot, and some visitors may find the constant spending to be a deterrent.
The water park is a highlight for many visitors. Arriving at opening time allows for a great choice of sunbeds, and lockers and towels are available for rent. There are pricing options for those wanting to do all the rides and those who just want to chill out at the water's edge. Lifeguards are vigilant, and indemnity forms are required before participating in the rides. However, the food and beverage service can be slow, especially when the park is busy. Prices shown on the menus do not include the service charge, so visitors should be aware of this when loading money onto their wristbands.
Overall, Blue Tree Phuket is a nice water park with plenty to do. It's still in its early stages, with not everything open yet, but there's more than enough to keep visitors entertained. The pool has a nice water temperature, and there are activities for both thrill-seekers and those looking for a more relaxed experience. The food is of good quality, but as visitors are captive in the park, it does cost more than outside. The staff are helpful and polite, and taxis can be arranged at the main entrance. It's a nice change from the beach or hotel pool, offering a unique experience for those visiting Phuket.
