About Bophut Walking Street
The Wharf night market is a lively and vibrant spot that comes alive every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday evenings. It's a bustling hub of activity, offering a wide variety of street food, cocktails, and souvenirs. On Friday evenings, it becomes the busiest place on the island, teeming with locals and tourists alike.Bophut, located in Koh Samui, is an amazing place that leaves visitors wishing they had more time to explore. The area is dotted with cool bars and restaurants that are worth trying out. It's a clean and well-organised area, with a street market that's a must-visit, especially on Fridays. The market offers good bargains, delicious street food, and refreshing drinks. Many visitors have expressed a preference for staying in Bophut over Chaweng on their next visit to Koh Samui.
The Walking Street is another busy area in Koh Samui that hosts a market three nights a week. It's lined with cafes, restaurants, and tourist shops selling unique clothes. Some cafes offer a sea view, although some may be a bit overpriced. It's a great place for holiday shopping and relaxation. The beach is beautiful, but access is mainly through the many bars and restaurants.
The lively buzzing street is filled with bars, restaurants, and shopping stores. It's a place where you can pick up a few souvenirs and enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants offering a melting pot of cuisines, including steak houses, Thai, Italian, and more.
Koh Samui offers a 'must-do' experience with great music, cheap and delicious food stalls, and cocktails at incredibly low prices. It's a great place to buy cheap gifts, including some well-known brands. The atmosphere is excellent, and you can spend many hours simply wandering through the miles of stalls. The Thai people are great fun, and there's no pressure or hassling to buy. You can chat, have a laugh, and move on.
Bophut offers a beautiful beach view of the neighboring islands, clear water, and a clean beach. It's a restful view to gaze at with a cocktail, a Singha, or a glass of wine in hand. The prices in the restaurants are generally reasonable. However, it's recommended to do your shopping at Chaweng. While Bophut is a lovely place to visit, there are better areas in Ko Samui to stay.
The Fisherman’s Village Walking Street is a pleasant way to spend a Friday evening. It's only held on a Friday night and is worth the visit. The village has a reputation for being the “it” place on Koh Samui and it really rocks on a Friday night. It's full of great street vendors selling a variety of different items ranging from vintage clothes to handmade jewelry and knick-knacks. The food stalls that spring up, paired with the nice restaurants in the area, ensure that you won't be left feeling hungry. There are cocktails served on the street, so you'll never be without a drink in your hand. Near The Pier, they have impromptu shows, which are quite entertaining and typically Thai. However, it can get quite busy, so if you're not into the hustle and bustle, it's suggested that you either go early or late.
