The lake's location is indeed advantageous. It's situated near a great shopping mall and the bustling Chaweng street market, making it a convenient stop for those visiting Koh Samui. The night market offers a variety of Thai food and shopping opportunities, adding to the appeal of the area.

However, it's important to manage expectations when visiting the lake. While the locals take great pride in it, it may not meet the standards of some visitors. It's not a must-see attraction, but it does offer a different view of the island when driving past.

Interestingly, the lake is artificial, which may explain its unusual location. One of its unique features is the Reggae pub, which boasts a terrace that extends to the water's edge. During the Songkran festival, the area is adorned with flowers and lights, creating a beautiful spectacle.

In comparison to other attractions on the island, the lake may seem lackluster.
