If you're looking for a place to get foreign food to take home, this is the place to be.The Chillin Bar is also known as the ideal Farrang bar. In Thai, a Farrang is a foreigner, and a Farrang bar is a place where foreigners can meet and chat with other foreigners and their Thai partners. The bar has a happy and welcoming staff, and the tables are laid out in such a way that it's easy to chat with the people around you. The host is great, and if you're hungry, there's plenty of food nearby to choose from.
But that's not all. The Chillin Bar is also a sports bar. It has two good-sized TV sets where you can watch a great range of sports live. Whether you're a fan of the AFL Grand Final, NRL Grand Final, or test cricket matches, you can watch them all here. The owner, Paul, is a very affable guy, and the ladies who work there are friendly and efficient. The bar is not a girlie bar, and the drinks are reasonably priced. If you're hungry, you can order food from nearby restaurants or from the burger truck that's usually parked on the corner during weekends.
The Chillin Bar is also known for its good service and reasonable prices. The toilet facilities are good, and the music is at a level where you can have a conversation.
