Doi Saket Hot Spring, located outside the city, is a charming destination for those traveling to Doi Saket or driving to Chiang Rai. Although not very large, this hot spring offers a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere, especially during the morning and evening hours. The area is relatively tree-less and has a few restaurants, but the real charm lies within the hot spring itself.The hot spring offers room service, a hot spring bath, a mineral pool, and Thai massage services. Visitors can enjoy a soothing soak in the hot spring bath, rejuvenate in the mineral pool, or indulge in a traditional Thai massage. The hot spring is a perfect place to unwind and relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
A group of friends recently spent a relaxing afternoon at the hot springs. They hired a private room for THB 500, which allowed them to enjoy their privacy and control the temperature of the pool water. They also had the freedom to choose their attire. Massage services are available outside the public pool area, and there are several places to eat in the lovely gardens surrounding the hot springs.
The hot spring is also a nice place to spend an afternoon. There's a cafe with free wifi and decent coffee, perfect for those who want to stay connected or enjoy a good cup of joe. The cafe offers an iced latte for 50 Baht. There's also a restaurant with an English menu, where one can enjoy a decent portion of chicken rice for 40 Baht. The hot spring also offers free parking and toilet facilities.
Visitors can also enjoy a unique experience of boiling eggs in the hot pool and bathing their feet in the hot streams. They can also go swimming in the mineral pool and enjoy a Thai massage. However, some visitors felt that there's not much to see in terms of the hot springs and preferred to have coffee at a nearby coffee shop before continuing on their journey.
The hot spring is well presented with a few geyser hot springs. These have a hot to warm canal winding away from them that visitors can dip into. There is also a pool area. The garden-like setting is adorned with many flowers, adding to the serene atmosphere. Some food kiosks offer eggs for cooking in the hot pools around the geyser fountains. However, some areas are not always well-maintained. Despite this, Doi Saket Hot Spring remains a delightful destination for relaxation and rejuvenation.
