About Dragon Crest

The journey to the top of Dragon Crest is a challenging but breathtaking experience. The hike can be completed in about 3 to 4 hours, depending on the pace and the time spent at the top. The trail is considered moderate, with some areas that are difficult and recommended only for those of good fitness and flexibility. The views at the top are spectacular, especially considering that much of the area was once a seabed. For an equally amazing view, one can walk past the Dragon Crest's rock.

The hike is best started early in the morning to avoid the heat of the day. The park charges 200 bhat for non-Thai visitors and is well maintained. The trail is uneven and requires some scrambling, so wearing trainers or similar footwear is recommended. The trail is mostly shaded, providing some relief from the sun. The park currently closes at 2pm, so starting early is essential. The trail is not crowded, providing a peaceful hiking experience.

The hike is not easy, but it is worth the effort. Even physically fit individuals may find the hike challenging. The hike up takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes, and the descent takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes. It is important to bring plenty of water and wear suitable shoes. The trail can be slippery at times, so shoes with good grip are recommended. The views from the top are spectacular, making the challenging climb worthwhile.

The climb is manageable even for those who are not in good physical shape. With some stops and breaks, the climb can be completed in about 5 hours, including time for rest and photos. It is important to bring plenty of water. The views from the top are magnificent and highly recommended.

The climb is a workout, but the views from the top make it worth the effort. The path is rocky and challenging, so good shoes are recommended. The climb takes about 4 to 5 hours, including time for photos. The top is not crowded, providing a peaceful experience away from the usual tourist spots.

The hike starts at the 'Checkpoint Mu Ko Phi Phi National park' on Google maps. The hike up takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes at a moderate pace. The terrain is uneven, so trainers are a must. At least 1.5L of water per person is recommended. The park officially opens at 8am, but some people start earlier for the sunrise. The trail is quiet in the early morning, but it gets busier later in the day. It is recommended to sign in and sign out at the checkpoint and tip the ranger 100 baht at the end of the hike. The hike is tough but manageable for most people. The view from the top is phenomenal, with two other great photo spots to the right.

The hike is doable even for those who are not very athletic. The climb takes about 1.5 hours (4 km) to the top. The path varies in difficulty, but it is a lot of fun because it is not the same all the way. There are a couple of lizards to see on the way. It is important to wear good shoes and bring plenty of water. Starting the hike early and not rushing is recommended. The views from the top are definitely worth the effort.
