The complex is well-maintained and stunning, with a welcoming atmosphere that makes every visitor feel at home. The owner, Mike, is known for his warm hospitality and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure guests have a memorable stay.Fishing at EFT can be challenging, but the rewards are worth the effort. The lake is home to a variety of large and rare fish species, making it an angler's dream. Some guests have reported catching 200-pound Arapima and 110-pound carp, while others have caught over 40 fish in just two days. The use of bait boats to reach spots not accessible by casting or to bait an area has proven to be a successful strategy for many.
The accommodation at EFT is top-notch. The bungalows are spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. They are equipped with all the amenities one might need for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning. The beds, however, have been reported to be quite hard, which some guests found difficult to sleep on.
The food at EFT is highly praised. The restaurant offers a variety of delicious meals, and the service is excellent. Guests can even have their meals delivered to their Sala at the lake. For those who are not into fishing, the complex offers other activities such as Thai cooking classes and trips to the spa, massage parlors, and viewpoints. There is also a pool for guests to enjoy.
Despite the many positive aspects of EFT, some guests have reported less than satisfactory experiences. One of the main complaints is the lack of engagement from some of the guides. Some guests felt that their guides were either shy or arrogant and more interested in playing games on their phones than in assisting them. Additionally, some guests were disappointed with their fishing experience, catching only one fish in a day despite the high cost.
