About Grand Canyon Water Park

The largest floating water park in Chiangmai is a fun-filled destination for everyone. It's a perfect place to cool off, especially during the hot afternoons. The water is clean and safe, and the inflatables, though well-loved, are still in good condition and add to the overall fun. The park offers a decent amount of activities, including games that can captivate the attention of teenagers. The staff is scattered throughout the park, ready to interact and show visitors how to play the games successfully.

One of the activities that stand out is the bounce-off activity, where one sits at the end of the inflatable and another person jumps down on the other end, sending the former flying. It's important to note that it's typically the staff who do the jumping, although visitors are allowed to try it as well. However, proper communication is crucial to avoid any accidents.

The water park is much larger than what pictures can capture. It's filled with every type of plaything one could ever want. The property is clean and the water is pleasant. However, visitors should be aware that the activities can be quite tiring. Unless you're under 20, 2-3 hours of playtime might be all you can handle.

Despite its fun-filled atmosphere, the water park has received some criticism. Some visitors have found the park to be quite average in terms of attractions. It's located in an old quarry and the park's policy of confiscating food on entry to sell their own has been met with disapproval. There have also been complaints about the lifeguards, who are said to lack proper identification on their uniforms and have been accused of pestering adolescents.

However, for those who love fun and adventure, the water park is a must-visit. For 600 baht, visitors get access to all the inflatable wipeout style obstacles, a life jacket, and a go on the zip line. The zip line doesn't lead into the water, but it's still a fun experience. The water slides on the side of the cliff, the 10m cliff dive platform, the trampoline, and other activities are all part of the package. There's also a kids' area with slides and a water bucket.

The park also offers a variety of food and drinks. The lunch portions are large and come with a drink. There's also an option to have a beer later on. The inflatables are a source of endless fun, and visitors can spend hours running around like kids.

The park is a big area, but some of the inflatable tracks are unavailable due to deterioration. However, there's still plenty to enjoy. The tower with the slides and jump spots is a favorite among kids. The park is better suited for older kids, but younger ones can still have fun under supervision.

The water park is not to be confused with the Grand Canyon Chiang Mai next door. It's a really big water park with lots of inflatables. Safety is a priority, and visitors are required to wear a life jacket. There are plenty of food areas, and the food is reasonably priced. However, some of the inflatables need maintenance. If you fall in the water, you can either wait for a lifeguard to pull you up or climb out via a ladder, but many of the ladders are broken. The park also offers a ton of slides, a zip line, and the opportunity to do wakeboarding.
