The journey begins with a company that offers travel services, but unfortunately, their customer service leaves much to be desired. The company's lack of responsiveness and disregard for customer requests is a significant concern. A traveler had a particularly unpleasant experience when they tried to cancel their ticket. Despite numerous attempts to contact the company, their request was ignored for several days. When the company finally responded, they did so with little notice and a vague promise to look into the matter. However, the company failed to follow up on their promise, leaving the traveler in a state of uncertainty and frustration. The traveler was left with the impression that the company was either too lazy to address their concerns or deliberately avoiding their emails to avoid issuing a refund. This experience left a sour taste in their mouth, tainting their overall impression of the company's customer service.Despite the initial hiccup, the journey to Ayutthaya, a historic city, was a memorable one. The return cruise offered an excellent meal on board, adding to the charm of the trip. The city itself is steeped in history and culture, making it a must-visit destination for any traveler.
The hotel experience was a highlight of the trip. The meals served in the restaurant were delightful, and the facilities were top-notch. The ambiance of the hotel was warm and inviting, making for a pleasant stay.
However, the trip was not without its hiccups. One of the morning trips was delayed due to a late-arriving tour group. This caused frustration among the other travelers who had arrived on time and were forced to wait. The lack of consideration for punctual travelers was a point of contention.
The tour provider offered a short trip from Bangkok to Ayuthaya at a reasonable price of 1800 BT. The itinerary was packed, including a visit to the palace and three temples/sites. However, the tight schedule made the trip feel rushed. The small cruise from Ayuthaya to Bangkok included lunch, featuring a variety of well-cooked dishes. However, the guided tour was subpar, and the early pick-up time from the hotel (90 minutes before the start of the tour) was inconvenient. Despite these drawbacks, the trip was deemed satisfactory overall.
