About Holiday Story

The journey began with an airport transfer service to the Patong beach area, followed by a 5-hour city tour. The driver was punctual, friendly, and well-versed in the local culture and history of Phuket. The tour exceeded expectations, covering eight attractions within the allotted time. The driver was also kind enough to assist in taking pictures, a gesture much appreciated by solo travelers. The service concluded with a timely drop-off at the airport, leaving a lasting impression of excellent service and value for money.

The adventure continued with a family trip to Phuket, where a friend recommended Holiday Story. Miss Natti, a representative from the company, arranged three tours. The first tour was around Phang Nga, a treat for the kids who were eager to see the sea turtles, and a chance for some exploration of Thailand. Miss Natti suggested the Delight Phang Nga tour, which was tailored to finish by 2pm, allowing the kids to spend the rest of the day at the beach. The tour included kayaking at Sarasin Bridge in the mangrove forest, a visit to Khao Lak Lam Ru National Park to see the sea turtle conservation efforts at the Navy base, and a delightful lunch on a bamboo raft down a river. The tour guide, Woody, was knowledgeable, friendly, and particularly good with the kids. The tour was a great value for money and a memorable experience for the family.

The Luxury Ocean Boat Club was another highlight of the trip. The club offered day beds, which added a special touch to a surprise birthday celebration. The staff was accommodating and attentive to dietary restrictions, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone. This was a highly recommended activity for anyone visiting Phuket.

A half-day trip was also organized, which included a visit to three islands. This trip was particularly enjoyed by the younger members of the group. The service provided by Natti from Holiday Story was highly recommended.

The Holiday Story team provided an excellent experience overall. Special thanks were given to Natti for arranging the island and elephant riding tours. The agency ensured that everything happened as promised, providing a hassle-free experience. The team was looking forward to their next visit to Phuket.

Booking in advance was a good idea, as it allowed for a smooth transition through immigration. The service kept in touch via WhatsApp and provided a safe, cool ride to the hotel. The prearranged service was appreciated, especially considering the hour-long ride to most beaches and resorts in Phuket.

However, not all experiences with Holiday Story were positive. One traveler reported a disappointing experience with the company after booking through Viator. Despite a confirmed booking for collection at Phuket Airport, the traveler had to wait for 45 minutes as the Holiday Story driver was nowhere in sight. The airport staff was unfamiliar with the company, and it took a phone call and a confirmation number to finally get a car. This experience served as a reminder to always double-check bookings and confirmations with tour operators.
