This family-run business has been serving clients from around the globe for three generations, providing top-notch quality clothing at reasonable prices. The shop is known for its excellent customer service and the unique souvenirs that customers can use daily.The staff at Hong Kong Tailor are known for their kindness and competence. They are experts in creating perfectly fitting vests at a reasonable price, making it a highly recommended place for those seeking a special memento from Chiang Mai.
One of the unique services offered by Hong Kong Tailor is the creation of custom hemp suits. A customer who brought in hemp cloth from the market was delighted with the lightweight two-piece suit that was crafted. The tailoring was so impressive that the customer returned to have trousers made from a narrow tribal hemp cloth, a task that required skilled tailoring. The result was a resounding success.
However, not all experiences have been positive. One customer, who had previously had shirts made in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand, had a less than satisfactory experience. Despite multiple visits and assurances from the sales staff, the customer was left with a shirt that was out of balance, crumpled, and misshaped.
Despite this, many customers have found the staff at Hong Kong Tailor to be very helpful and quick. One customer, who needed to be measured for a suit to be ordered online, was assisted by the owner who provided a measurement chart. The owner was aware that the customer would not be making a purchase but was still extremely helpful, demonstrating a commitment to excellent service.
The staff at Hong Kong Tailor are not only skilled but also knowledgeable about fabrics. One customer was educated about different types of fabric and how to distinguish between good wool and other materials. The customer had a button-up shirt made to accommodate her figure, and the shirt was ready for a final fitting within 18 hours. The shirt was then delivered to her hotel, demonstrating the shop's commitment to customer satisfaction.
Regular clients of Hong Kong Tailor praise the friendly, professional service and the high standard of the merchandise. While the prices may be higher than other stores, the quality of the clothes and the longevity they offer make it worth the investment. The tailor even offers complimentary adjustments to accommodate changing sizes.
