The shopping scene is equally impressive, with a vast array of shops offering a wide variety of low-priced goods. With over a thousand shops, it's easy to find yourself buying more than you initially planned. The quality of the goods is reasonably good, making it a worthwhile shopping experience.

The indoor market, located near Pratunam market and next to the Indra Regent Hotel, offers a welcome respite from the crowded and often chaotic stalls of Pratunam. The market is air-conditioned and less crowded, yet still offers a great selection of goods. Bargaining is a common practice, and you can find everything from electronics and gadgets to clothing and bags.

The products are inexpensive, with Thailand-made shawls going for 50-bath in Indra mall, compared to 100-baths elsewhere. Most of the clothing and shoes are cheaper compared to other malls. Some sellers even speak Sinhalese. There are two prices for most items: wholesale and retail.

Indra Square is an ideal destination for economical shopping. You can spend hours exploring the two floors of shops and merchandise. It's a great place to find small souvenirs, mementos, sweets, chocolates, bags, purses, key chains, and fridge magnets at economical rates. The food court on the third floor is also worth a visit. One shop, Arunrung, next to the Food Court, is highly recommended for its amazing chocolates and candies, perfect for gifting. The shopkeeper is friendly and may even nudge you to try the Durian chips, which are a bit pricey but absolutely delicious.

However, it's important to note that not all items at Indra Square are of high quality. Some items are duplicates and of low quality. It's advisable to be cautious when shopping for electronics, as some have reported purchasing duplicate items. For instance, a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 purchased from Indra was found to be a duplicate with no network availability.

Despite this, the market is a good place for low-budget shopping. It can be crowded and old-fashioned, but bargaining is possible and sometimes the price can be reduced by 30-45%.

Unfortunately, some visitors have reported experiencing prejudice from Thai sellers towards Indian customers. This is a disappointing aspect of the shopping experience at Indra Square. It's important to be aware of this issue and to consider avoiding shops where this behavior has been reported. Despite this, the market remains a popular destination for its wide variety of goods and economical prices.
