The half-day Doi Suthep and Meo Village trip is a must-do when staying in Chang Mai. The tour guide, Moon, is known for her extensive knowledge and perfect English. The trip includes a drive up a mountain to a hill village and market, followed by a visit to a fabulous temple. The views of Chang Mai from this vantage point are breathtaking. Moon's clear explanations and helpfulness, including taking pictures and providing information, make the trip smooth and enjoyable. She goes above and beyond to ensure the group is having a great time and getting what they want out of the trip. This tour is highly recommended for its exciting and fun-filled itinerary.

Journey Smile offers three tours that are worth mentioning. The Chiang Rai tour, the half-day Doi Suthep tour, and the full-day Doi Inthanon tour. Sarah, who leads the Chiang Rai tour, is known for her knowledge and her efforts to ensure guests have a good time, even when they're not feeling well. The vegetarian lunch on this tour could use some improvement, but the rest of the experience is top-notch. The other two tours are led by Patti, who is known for her kindness, humor, and knowledge. Both Sarah and Patti speak excellent English and are able to answer all questions. Highlights of these tours include the White Temple in Chiang Rai and the entire Doi Inthanon tour, which features many beautiful flowers.

The Doi Inthanon National Park Tour is another highly recommended experience. This tour includes stops at Karen Village, two waterfalls (Sirithan & Wachirathan), the highest peak in Thailand, King & Queen Pagodas, and the Royal Project. Patty, the tour guide, is known for her knowledge, kindness, and friendliness. She also provides recommendations for other cool spots to visit in Chiangmai. Despite spending a significant amount of time in the van, guests are still able to see everything at each destination. The tour also includes a stop for a fresh fruit smoothie at the Royal Project.

The one-day trip to the national park in Chiang Mai is another great day out. The tour guide, Eve, is known for his friendliness and knowledge. He ensures a fun day visiting the major landmarks at the national park. The food on this trip is also highly praised.

Patty is also known for her exceptional guidance on a visit to a beautiful place. She ensures the group is comfortable and well taken care of throughout the trip. She provides important information about each place visited and answers all questions. The driver on this trip is also very attentive.

A trip to the north of Thailand is a lovely experience where visitors can see the white temple, long neck tribe, and golden triangle. The guide, Nui, is known for his clear and concise explanations. His English is good and he is very kind and thoughtful. He takes good care of his guests. The whole day trip is a bit long at 14 hours, but the sites are far away from Chiang Mai and with five stops, it cannot be shorter.
