The journey to the lookout begins with a leisurely stroll along a paved path. The walk is short, taking only about five minutes from the road, and is quite easy to navigate. The path leads to a charming gazebo, a perfect spot to sit, relax, and take in the surrounding beauty.The lookout itself is perched atop a hill, offering a breathtaking view of two provinces. The drive up to the lookout can be a bit challenging, but it's certainly not impossible. The best time to visit is in the afternoon when the area is quiet and the cool breeze adds to the serene atmosphere.
The road to Kew Fin Viewpoint is a bit tough, but the view from the top makes every bit of the journey worthwhile. It's recommended to take a 4WD car or a local pickup car for the trip, which could cost around 100-120 THB per person, depending on the number of passengers.
The viewpoint offers an amazing panorama of Lamphun and Chiang Mai. After a short walk from the parking space, visitors are greeted with an endless view of the mountain range. The sky seems so close, and the lush greenery is simply unreal. It's definitely worth a detour if you're visiting Mae Kampong or on your way to another destination. The beauty of the landscape and the tranquility of the location make it a must-visit spot for any traveler.
