About Khai Island (Tarutao)

The Stone Arch Bridge, also known as สะพานหินโค้ง, is a sight to behold. Before the storm season, it's not too crowded with tourists, making it an ideal time to visit. The bridge is still as beautiful as ever, attracting the attention of all who visit. This year, the sand has risen a bit, almost touching the underside of the bridge, adding a unique touch to the already stunning structure.

One of the must-visit places is Koh Kai, located in Satun. Surrounded by azure seas and white sandy beaches, it's a paradise for beach lovers. The island is home to a unique stone gate, known as the Love Tunnel. It's believed that if a couple holds hands and walks through the tunnel, their love will last forever.

The sea around Koh Kai is crystal clear, and the beaches are beautiful. A visit to the island is incomplete without taking a couple's photo with the famous stone gate. The island can be visited while on a boat trip to Koh Lipe, but only for the 11:30 am round. The fine white sandy beaches and the clear sea water make it a perfect spot for a quick stopover.

Koh Kai is a gem that has won many hearts. The clear waters, the beautiful atmosphere, and the overall vibe of the island are simply mesmerizing. The only regret is that the stopover is just for 15 minutes. It's a small island located en route to Koh Lipe, and it's highly recommended to make a stop and explore.

Many dream of visiting the stone gate on Koh Kai. A trip to Koh Lipe includes a stopover at both Koh Tarutao and Koh Kai. On a day when the sea is beautiful, even if one doesn't get to walk to the stone gate, just visiting the island is enough to make the dream come true.

Another point of interest on Koh Kai is the stone gate. It's a popular spot for couples, especially if visited during low tide when the beauty of the place is at its peak. However, during high tide, it's not possible to walk through the gate.

For those planning a trip to Koh Lipe, if you take the speedboat round at 11:00 am, there's a stopover at Koh Kai. The island is known for its symbol, a structure similar to a stone gate. This unique feature adds to the charm of the island, making it a must-visit spot on any trip to the region.
