King Power Mahanakhon, standing tall at 314 meters, is a sight to behold in the heart of Thailand. Certified by the Council of Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat in April 2016, it holds the title of Thailand's Tallest Tower. The tower is not just a marvel of architecture, but also a hub of entertainment and adventure. It houses Thailand’s highest 360-degree Observation Deck, offering a panoramic view of the city from a dizzying height of 314 meters. The Glass tray floor, situated at 310 meters above the ground, adds an extra thrill to the experience.The King Power Mahanakhon building is a must-visit for anyone traveling to Bangkok. The views from the top are nothing short of spectacular. From the highest point, one can see the entire city stretching out to the horizon. As the sun sets, the city lights up, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. The glass floor jutting out from the side of the building offers a unique experience. Looking down from this height can be a thrilling, if not slightly terrifying, experience. It's recommended to visit in the early evening, just as the sun is about to set, to fully appreciate the beauty of the cityscape. The building also houses a restaurant where visitors can enjoy a meal with a view. After lunch, visitors can head to the skywalk, either by stairs or elevator. The 360-degree view of Bangkok's skyline, the river, and various landmarks is truly breathtaking. Although the prices for drinks and snacks are on the higher side, the experience more than makes up for it.
The King Power Mahanakhon is a great place to spend a few hours, especially around sunset. Despite being a popular attraction, it never feels overcrowded. On a clear day, the views are simply stunning. Even on a cloudy day, the sight of the city blanketed in clouds is equally captivating.
For those looking for a more budget-friendly option, there's a little trick to enjoy the skywalk without buying a ticket. Some visitors have found that by dining at the bar and spending a certain amount, they were granted free entry to the skywalk. This way, visitors can enjoy a meal or drinks and then head to the rooftop for the same price as a ticket. This makes for a much better deal and a more enjoyable experience.
