The hike consists of a series of steep manmade steps with railing that leads to an above sea level salt lake. The view from the top is breathtaking and suitable for all ages, although the steps can be quite steep. The day ends with a return to the boat and a trip back to the starting point, complete with margaritas and fruit.

The Blue Dragon boat tour is considered the best way to see Ang Thong Marine Park. The boat is well staffed, with the owner often present to ensure everyone is okay. The meals served on board are plentiful, hot, and delicious. The onboard toilets are kept very clean. The kayak tour is fun, albeit a bit challenging, and the snorkeling is excellent, with schools of fish visible not far from the boat. The boat is never overcrowded, and there are areas for both sun and shade, as well as a designated smoking area.

The boat is excellent with plenty of space, and the food served is tasty, especially considering it comes from the tiny boat kitchen. The staff are helpful and friendly.
