The crew is kind, informative, and ensures that even those who are not certified feel comfortable throughout the dive. The company offers two dives, with the coral being a beautiful sight to behold. The manager, Tos, is very kind and the lunch provided, particularly the Pad Se Ew, is one of the most delicious meals to be had in Thailand.

The atmosphere at Cast Away Divers is relaxed yet very professional. They offer two dives per day, with fresh fruits, cookies, coffee, tea, and water provided in between. The convenience of staying at Cast Away is also a plus, with the dive shop being only a 20-meter walk from the cabins. The crew takes care of everything, from setting up the equipment to carrying the tanks to the boat. The boat is never crowded or chaotic, everything is well organized. Paul and Tos, in particular, do a great job in guiding the dives and have lots of knowledge about the reefs around the islands.

Cast Away Divers also offers a very positive PADI Open Water diving experience. They are helpful in answering any questions and preparing divers for their open water dives. The course is a positive experience, with the instructors being patient and thorough. The divers also enjoy the 'banter' with the instructors and other divers.

The dive trips with Cast Away are great, with the guides being knowledgeable and always ensuring safety. Diving with a small group from the longtail boat is a unique experience, with beautiful sights to be seen. The team is well organized and adapts the diving schedule to the interests of the divers.

However, it is important to note that not all experiences are perfect. There have been instances where the group size was larger than expected, which can be inappropriate in tough diving conditions. There have also been instances where the guides were more focused on each other than on their clientele. The longtail boat can also get overcrowded, with not enough room and shade for everyone.

Despite these minor issues, Cast Away Divers is considered the best bunch to dive with on Li Pe island. The booking process is easy and the prices are reasonable. The instructors and divemasters are excellent, with each having their unique strengths. The dive sites are beautiful, with Stonehenge and Koh Ta Lu being the top recommendations. The visibility is usually between 5-10m with mild current in all locations.
