Lampi Waterfall, located in a National Park in the area, is a delightful place to spend an hour or two. The entrance fee is a mere 110 baht, a price that includes access to all the National Parks in the vicinity, making it a worthwhile investment. Although the bridge is currently closed for maintenance, this does not detract from the beauty of the waterfall, which is just a short walk from the car park.

The waterfall is easily accessible from Khao Lak, making it a convenient day trip for those staying in the area. It is considered one of the better waterfalls to view, offering a wonderful experience for nature lovers. The park staff are on hand to guide visitors and for a small fee of 10 baht, you can even purchase some fish food.

The journey from Khao Lak Mc Donalds to the waterfall takes approximately 20 minutes and costs around 1400 baht for a return trip. The scenery upon arrival is reminiscent of a jungle, providing a thrilling start to the adventure. The route to the top of the waterfall is a good climb, requiring some effort and sweat, but the breathtaking view at the top makes it all worthwhile. The descent can be equally exciting, with the chance to spot wildlife such as pythons in the tree branches. At the bottom, visitors can take a refreshing dip in the cool water.

A day at the waterfalls can be a great experience. If you visit Lampi, Tonprai waterfall, and Lam Ru National Park all on the same day, you only pay one admittance fee, offering excellent value for money. The waterfalls are easily accessible, requiring a little walking but no rock climbing. This makes them a popular choice for visitors of all ages and fitness levels.

Lampi Waterfall was chosen by many due to its accessibility from the car park. It's a short walk to the fall, and visitors are advised to bring goggles or a snorkel to see the fishes. The water is quite cold, making it a refreshing spot to spend a couple of hours.

The waterfall is also a quiet swimming spot, particularly beautiful after a heavy downpour. A taxi from Khao Lak costs about 1500 baht, and while this may seem a little pricey, it's worth it for the convenience and the beauty of the location. Visitors can climb up to the top and swim at the top level, but swimming is not allowed at the second level. Swimming is permitted at the bottom, but not directly in front of the waterfall due to the strong current. Even for strong swimmers, caution is advised.
