The northern end of the beach is a popular spot for nude sunbathing, adding to the beach's laid-back vibe.
One of the most enchanting experiences at Leela Beach is watching the sunset. As the day draws to a close, the sky is painted with hues of orange and pink, creating a breathtaking spectacle. The lighthouse at the end of the beach provides a perfect vantage point to take in this mesmerizing view.

The beach is dominated by three resort hotels, with the Cocohut Resort standing out for its excellent bar and restaurant that serves anyone. The water here is shallow for over 150 meters, making it a safe place for a leisurely swim. However, there are zones of seaweed that can get mixed up in your arms and legs as you swim by.
Leela Beach is a quieter alternative to the more bustling Haad Rin. The sand is soft and the water is clear blue, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing day at the beach. However, it's recommended to bring your own blanket and chair as there are limited facilities. The beach is about a 10-minute walk from the main area, and while there are no clear signs directing you there, the journey is part of the adventure.
The beach is also home to a gorgeous swing nestled between palm trees on a hotel property, adding to its charm. However, while the beach is great for lounging and taking in the views, it's not the best for swimming due to the presence of stones and corals in the water close to the beach.
