Long Beach, nestled at the far southern tip of Ko Chang on the eastern side, is a sight to behold. It's a bit of a journey to get there, but the trip is well worth it, especially if you're staying at the luxury resort that has become a prominent feature of the area.The journey down Ko Chang’s east coast to this slender strip of beach feels like an adventure to the end of the world. It's a true haven, a place where you can escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The beach is enveloped by lush jungle trees, creating a serene and secluded atmosphere. The tree house restaurant, nestled among the greenery, offers a variety of tasty dishes and refreshing cold drinks. There's plenty of shade under which you can relax on the sand, gaze out at the small islands dotting the horizon, and truly escape from the frenetic pace of the east coast.
Long Beach is a paradise for beach lovers. The warm, calm waters, pristine white sand, and stunning surroundings make it an exceptional place to visit. The beach also features a bar and restaurant that serves delicious food and freshly made juices, adding to the overall appeal of the location.
The bay is beautiful, with a shallow sea that's perfect for kids to swim in. The treehouse restaurant serves some of the best food in the area, with the Pad Thai being a particular favorite among visitors. There are about 20 beach bungalows available for those who wish to stay overnight, although they are quite basic in terms of amenities.
Despite its name, Long Beach is not the longest beach in Ko Chang. That title goes to White Sand Beach, followed by Khlong Prao. However, the name doesn't detract from the beauty and tranquility of Long Beach. It may not be the best place for a long sunset stroll or a sunrise jog, but if you're looking for a peaceful retreat, a place where you can feel far removed from the rest of the world, then Long Beach could be the perfect destination for you. Like many other beaches in Ko Chang, it's a wonderful place to visit, offering a unique blend of natural beauty and tranquility.
