Embarking on a two-day, one-night cruise on the Loy River Song is an experience that is both unique and memorable. The journey begins from the Anantara Riverside pier around 10 am, cruising smoothly northwards, passing through the beautiful sights along the Chaophraya river before heading up to the Ayutthaya area. The boat itself is a marvel, decorated beautifully and comfortably, surpassing the standards of a five-star hotel.The boat houses four cabins, each named after the four rivers that combine into the Chaophraya river: Ping, Wang, Yom, and Nan. Ping and Nan are the largest of the four, situated on different sides of the corridor. Each cabin is spacious, with plenty of room to store large luggage. They each have their own bathrooms, which are so spacious that one might forget they are on a boat.
The journey on the river is smooth, offering views of local life along Thailand's main river. Stops are made at local sights, such as Wat Niwet near Ayutthaya for sightseeing in the late afternoon. This beautiful temple boasts a unique style that is sure to impress. The boat docks at the pier of Wat Boat for an overnight stay.
The culinary experience on board is nothing short of amazing. With chefs preparing meals on board, every meal is a delight, served in different styles. The dinner experience is akin to dining in a Michelin star restaurant, and the brunch on the second day is so lavish that one might wonder how the chef manages to prepare it all on board.
The service on the Loy River Song is exceptional. With a crew of six, including two butlers, two captains, and two chefs, guests are provided with attentive service that makes the journey all the more memorable. The trip concludes around 4 pm on the second day with a warm welcome at the Anantara Riverside pier.

The food and drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are perfect. The afternoon tea on the Chaophraya River is a delightful experience. The staff on board are very nice, service-minded, and always full of smiles.
The Loy Pela Voyage is a must for anyone who loves living a happy and slow life. It is a great trip with great food and service, offering enjoyable sights and activities. It is the most romantic way to see Bangkok, and it is a memory that will never be forgotten. The cruise is a wonderful experience, with a beautifully appointed and comfortable ship.
