About Mahanakorn Skywalk

Thailand's highest observation deck, located at King Power Mahanakhon, offers some of the most breathtaking views in Bangkok. At a staggering height of 1,030 feet, visitors can feast their eyes on the shimmering rooftops of Wat Pho temple, the majestic Grand Palace, the winding Chao Phraya River, and even the Gulf of Thailand on a clear day.

The indoor observation deck on the 74th floor provides a comfortable viewing experience, but for those seeking a more thrilling adventure, an upgrade to The SkyWalk on the 78th floor is highly recommended. Here, visitors can step onto glass trays, or glass floors, that give the sensation of being suspended in the sky. Photography is encouraged, but visitors are required to secure all loose items and wear shoe covers for safety.

The SkyWalk is particularly popular among children, who delight in the digital display elevator that whisks them to the 74th floor in less than a minute. The tallest tower in Bangkok also features a variety of digital fun screens for kids to enjoy. The grass tray roof offers a unique perspective, allowing visitors to look straight down at the city below.

The observation deck is not just about the views, it also offers a cultural experience. At 314m above ground, it provides a 360-degree view of the dense maze that is Bangkok, and the air pollution that often blurs the outlines of distant skyscrapers. The 74th floor also houses interesting displays, although it's unclear whether these are permanent exhibits.

The 78th floor is where the outdoor adventure begins, including the Glass Tray. This section requires visitors to put on shoe covers, and offers a unique opportunity to test one's courage by looking straight down to the ground. A bar serving food and beverages is also located here, with prices that are considered reasonable.

The observation deck is also known as the Lego building due to its unique architecture. The skywalk on the 78th floor is a glass walkway that towers above the city, providing an exhilarating experience. The 47th floor offers 360-degree views of Bangkok, and visitors are advised to visit before sunset to experience the city in both daylight and at night.

The rooftop Skywalk is the main attraction of the building. It's located on the 78th floor and features a see-through glass floor. While it may be initially scary to step on the glass floor, the breathtaking views of the city make it worth the thrill. The experience is a delight for photographers, offering unique perspectives of the city.

The building is impressive from the lobby to the rooftop. The architecture is remarkable, resembling a Lego structure. The elevator ride is an experience in itself, showcasing Thailand's advanced technology. The rooftop bar, although a bit pricey, offers an unparalleled view of the city. The glass floor, standing 300 meters above the ground, is surprisingly not as intimidating as one might think, making it accessible for almost everyone.

The observation deck also offers a great deal for those looking to dine and enjoy the view. A certain amount spent at the bar grants free entry to the Skywalk. This allows visitors to enjoy a meal, have a few drinks, and then head to the rooftop for an unforgettable view. The nighttime view is particularly stunning, with the city lights creating a mesmerizing spectacle. The atmosphere is further enhanced by a great DJ and helpful security staff who assist in capturing the perfect photo.
