Merlin Divers SSI dive center offers dive courses from the beginner to professional level.  Dive trips to Racha, Phi Phi and Similan islands and King Cruiser wreck are available. From October to May we run our local half day trips with 2 dives along the west coast of Phuket.

Merlin Divers came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. The adventure began with a ride on a long-tail boat, a more intimate experience compared to the large vessels that carry many divers. The group was small, just six in total, which allowed them to have the dive sites all to themselves. The guides were excellent, pointing out various sea life that they might have otherwise missed. The return to the boat required a team effort, a testament to the camaraderie that diving fosters. The day was made even more enjoyable with the provision of soft drinks and exotic fruits, all included in the very reasonably priced package. A big thank you was extended to Robert and his team for the unforgettable experience.

After many months of no diving due to the pandemic, it was a relief to find that Merlin Divers was open for business. Memories of completing a divemaster course with Robert and his team came flooding back. The quality of service remained unchanged, and Robert's professional approach to running the diving business was commendable. The diving experience was memorable and highly recommended for anyone visiting Phuket.

A fantastic time diving in Phuket was made possible by Merlin Divers. Despite the growing chaos, Robert managed to arrange day trips and even re-arranged a trip cancelled by the boat operator at short notice. The guide, Audrey, was excellent throughout. A half-day trip from Kamala beach resulted in an unforgettable encounter with a turtle in a wreck.

A last-minute booking for a half-day trip in early January turned out to be the best snorkeling experience ever. The small group met in the shop early in the morning to collect their gear and meet the staff. The boat ride to the snorkeling location was about 40 minutes, and the trip was relaxed and basic. Despite not diving with the group, the staff showed great care for the snorkelers. The snorkeling was breathtaking, with shoals of fish swimming around them. The location was amazing and the trip was surprisingly good value for money. The trip ended in time for lunch, leaving them in awe of the experience.

Completing a divemaster course with Merlin Divers was described as one of the best experiences of a lifetime. The professional and friendly crew, the brand new rental equipment, and the opportunity to book trips all around Phuket with highly competent guides made the three-month course unforgettable. For those living in or around Kamala, the local half-day trip was recommended for a first taste of Phuket diving, followed by a full day trip to King Cruiser and Shark Point. Regardless of diving experience, the crew at Merlin Divers ensured everyone was well taken care of.
