The location is conveniently situated just 20 minutes from the airport, making it an easy destination for those flying in. The club house, lockers, and reception areas are well maintained, providing a welcoming atmosphere for visitors. The golf course itself is also well kept, with good greens and fairways that are slightly less so. The course is not overly challenging, but the bunkers can be a bit rocky, adding an extra layer of difficulty. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they are proficient in English, making communication easy for international visitors.

However, not all experiences at this location have been positive. Some visitors have found the place to be quite isolated, with no local town or village nearby. The facilities have been described as rundown and dated, with a basic bar and hard, old beds. The rooms and bathrooms are also old, with dated pink fittings in the bath. The food has been criticized as being poor quality, leading some visitors to take a taxi to Phuket town, 30 minutes away, for meals. The gardens and fountains are not well maintained, with rubbish floating in half-empty, dirty fountains. There is no spa or other amenities for those wanting to do something other than golf.

The golf course itself has also received mixed feedback. While some parts of the layout are nice, it is not particularly memorable. One of the beachfront holes is reminiscent of a famous course in Bali, but it does not quite reach the same level of spectacle. The condition of the greens and many of the bunkers has been a source of disappointment for some.

Long-time visitors have noted a decline in the quality of the club over the years. Despite the course's pristine location and the local staff's best efforts to provide a fantastic golf experience, the club is very much rundown. Issues with the facilities, such as half the pool pumps working and no water coming out of the shower at 5.30 pm, have been reported. The management has been criticized for not adequately addressing these issues.

The club house facilities have been described as old, with dirty carpets and worn furniture. The driving range also leaves much to be desired, with worn mats, rusty metal, and balls that look like they haven't been cleaned for years. The course does have some nice and challenging holes, especially along the ocean, but the overall maintenance of the course is poor. Bunkers are almost devoid of sand, and all greens were sanded.

The course has been described as overhyped, with wet fairways due to heavy rain and buggies leaving tyre marks. The lack of a starter to direct players and the absence of a marshal during the 4 hours on the course have been noted. The greens are relatively slow, and the fairways are wet, leading to easily plugged balls. The condition of the buggies is poor, with non-working brakes, which can be dangerous.

Despite the club house's initial impressive appearance, the course itself has been a disappointment for some. The drainage is poor, and the soil can remain soggy for days after rain, leading to a buggy on track. Maintenance is lacking, with caddies not bothering to repair divots. Weeds growing on the fairway have also been reported. While there are a few beautiful holes by the Andaman Sea, the overall course condition detracts from the experience. The course charges the same price as the better-maintained Blue Canyon course, leading some to question its value for money.
