The entrance fee to the waterfall is 100 Baht, a change from previous years when it was freely accessible. This is a reflection of the rapid changes taking place in Pai, which some may argue are not necessarily for the better.

Despite the ongoing pandemic, the waterfall remains open to visitors. The water is beautiful and refreshing, although the water levels can be low. Visitors should be prepared for the presence of ants and other bugs, so carrying bug spray is advisable. The terrain can be slippery, so wearing shoes with a good grip is recommended. However, due to the low water levels, it's not advisable to use the waterfall as a natural water slide.

During the dry season, the waterfall can be reduced to just a trickle. Water is brought in by CVP pipes at the top to give the illusion of a waterfall. While the falls might be roaring during the rainy season, from February to April, the water can be semi-stagnant. Therefore, it might be worth considering whether to visit during these months.

Visiting the waterfall at the end of the dry season can lead to disappointment, as there may be no water in the waterfall. Therefore, it's advisable to save time and money and avoid visiting the waterfall if you're traveling at the end of the dry season.

Despite these considerations, the waterfall is considered one of the more enjoyable in Pai. It offers a natural slide and plenty of pools to rest in, even when there are several other people around. The surrounding rocks and forest provide ample opportunities for exploration and finding shade to relax in. There's also a small restaurant nearby for those who wish to grab a bite or use the bathroom facilities. It's a good place to stop by if you're touring around and visiting other attractions in Pai.

However, not all visitors have a positive experience. Some have described it as the worst waterfall they've ever seen, with dirty brown water and garbage littered everywhere. The waterfall is reduced to a small well where people swim, which some visitors find unappealing.

On a more positive note, the waterfall offers a unique experience - a natural water slide. Visitors can slide down the waterfall in two different spots, making for some of the most thrilling natural sights. However, visitors should be aware that they may be approached multiple times on the trip there for illegal substances. Despite these challenges, the waterfall remains a must-visit for its unique natural features.
