This development, designed to harmoniously blend with the natural surroundings, comprises three three-story apartment buildings and 30 bespoke detached homes. The project's commitment to preserving the environment ensures that vast expanses of the landscape remain untouched, allowing both residents and visitors to enjoy the lush vegetation and stunning white sandy beach as nature intended.

All facilities, including restaurants and pools, are cleverly integrated into the existing environment, creating one of the most stylish and desirable complexes in Thailand. However, it seems that the place has been neglected and not maintained for some time. The once vibrant beach is now deserted, with no activities taking place. The only sign of life is a lone guard, leaving one to wonder about the fate of this once promising project.

Coral Beach, once a hub of activity, has been quiet for over six months. The restaurant and bar have been closed for the same duration, with no food or drinks available. The swimming pool is empty, and the buildings, which were supposed to be condos, are unfinished with no ongoing construction. The once pristine beach has not been cleaned for months, raising questions about the future of this dream project.

Despite the current state of neglect, Coral Beach still holds a charm that is hard to ignore. It boasts a beautiful private beach, complete with white sand and palm trees. The pool and bar, although currently non-operational, once served food and drinks, and the staff were known for their friendliness and hospitality.

Coral Beach is located near Ao Yai I in Chumphon Province. The resort's restaurant, although not cheap by Thai standards, was not too expensive for western tourists. However, the quality of the food was a point of contention, with some dishes not living up to expectations.

The resort also featured a pool, perfect for a refreshing swim, and a smaller pool for children. The toilets were well-designed, and the showers were top-notch. A walk on the beach was a must, with many sea shells to find, clean water for swimming, and rocks perfect for snorkeling. The beach was also known for its giant clams offshore around one of the islands.

Coral Beach was also a beautiful place to watch the sunrise and sunset. It was quiet and serene, perfect for snorkeling and observing the coral. However, visitors had to be mindful of the many sand flies and remember to use mosquito repellent. The food was delicious, the music good, and the swimming pool was a great place to chill out.
