New Wave, another diving school on the island, is also a pleasure to dive with. Their dive instructors are very knowledgeable, with Tom Jang standing out as a highly recommended dive guide. He is familiar with the sites around the island and can provide valuable tips for improvement, even to more experienced divers.
For those looking for a comprehensive diving experience, New Wave offers a range of courses. Starting with a one-day Discover Diving course, you can upgrade to a two-day scuba course, and then to a full open water course. The instructors are multilingual, catering to a diverse clientele. After completing these courses, you may even feel compelled to take up the full dive master course. The staff, instructors, dive masters, and other customers at the shop are very friendly and welcoming. They also organize a monthly free reef clean-up dive, which is a highly recommended activity.
For beginners, the Try Diving course is a great introduction to the underwater world. The instructors are patient and supportive, helping even the most nervous beginners to stay calm and enjoy the experience. The course includes a second dive, which often inspires participants to continue their training. The marine life you can see while diving, including large fish and eels, is truly impressive.
