Koh Lipe is a paradise for diving enthusiasts, with several diving companies offering unforgettable underwater experiences. One such company that stands out is Ocean Republic. Known for its amazing and helpful divemasters, Agus and Marc, the company ensures that every diver feels welcome and safe. They offer two dives, and even though visibility can sometimes be affected by mother nature, the divemasters' keen eyes can spot unique marine life like seahorses. The diving package also includes a delightful Thai lunch, making it a complete experience.

The high quality of the dive centre in Koh Lipe is evident from the moment you step in. After two fun dives, you might find yourself wanting to take the Advance course. The course is well organized and professional, yet filled with fun. The instructors, including Augus and Jose, are dedicated to making the experience enjoyable and educational.

Ocean Republic is not just a dive centre, but a friendly, professional, and eco-conscious community. The staff are lovely and super helpful, and the equipment is top-notch. The company's commitment to the environment is commendable, with initiatives like coral conservation courses and beach cleaning. They are the only centre in partnership with Sea Shepherd on Koh Tao, further emphasizing their dedication to marine conservation.

The diving experience with Ocean Republic is excellent, whether you're diving for the first time or you're an experienced diver. The divemasters, like Michael, are calm and professional, ensuring safety at all times. The gear is brand new, and the shop itself is a comfortable place to relax with a free flow of tea and coffee after your dives.

However, it's important to note that not all experiences are perfect. There have been instances where divers with advanced degrees were asked to do a "refresh" course and ended up diving with beginners due to unforeseen circumstances. While the staff are generally nice, such experiences can be disappointing and frustrating.
