Phangan Rent Simple is a popular choice for many travelers seeking to explore the island on their own terms. One of the highlights of this rental service is their brand new scooters. A couple rented a scooter for four days at a rate of 300 baht per day, which included new helmets for both of them. They were so pleased with their experience that they would recommend this service to anyone looking to rent a scooter on the island.In addition to scooters, Phangan Rent Simple also offers jeep rentals. A gold 4x4 jeep was rented by a couple for two weeks. They found the jeep to be reliable and perfect for navigating the off-road areas of the island. The price was also deemed great, and they expressed their intention to use the service again when they return to the island.
However, not all experiences with Phangan Rent Simple have been positive. One traveler rented a motorbike for 10 days at a rate of 150B/day. On the third day, the bike refused to start after a half-hour ride and a quick stop. After an hour, the bike started again, and the traveler returned it to exchange for a more reliable one. The owner refused to exchange the bike unless the traveler paid 200B/day. The owner's response left the traveler and his daughter upset, and they decided to keep the bike and hope the problem wouldn't occur again. This experience left them advising others to avoid this rental service.
On the other hand, Big Boss bike rental is another option for those looking to rent a vehicle on the island. This rental service is considered one of the best and fairest on the island. Travelers need not worry about providing their passports, as the owner never charges any extras for small scratches or chips, unlike many other rentals at Phangan. This makes Big Boss bike rental a reliable and trustworthy choice for many.
