The journey to the summer house, located at a police base, is an easy bike ride from the town. Many hotels and guesthouses offer bikes for their guests to use. Upon arrival, visitors are required to present their passports, in exchange for which they receive a badge to wear on the site. The passports are returned when leaving the premises. The house is well maintained, although it lacks much of the era period furniture. The site closes at 4:30pm, but visitors are advised to leave the house by 4:00pm. A unique feature of the house is the large ceramic angels playing accordions on the double staircase bannister, a design choice that was fashionable at the time.

The summer house was designed by a German architect, and it showcases a beautiful blend of art nouveau and baroque styles. The palace is set in a pleasant park, making it a serene spot for visitors. The interior is covered with green tiles and embellished with ceramic cherubs, giving it a unique aesthetic. The double spiral staircase is a favorite among visitors. The palace is not usually crowded, especially in the afternoons.

The palace looks brand new from the outside, and the interior is splendid. Each room has a short explanation in English, and the entrance fee for foreigners is 50 baht.
