The adventure begins with a friendly tour guide who ensures that the journey is relaxed and unhurried, allowing ample time for photo opportunities. The track is thrilling and provides an exhilarating experience that is worth every penny. One of the highlights of the journey is the Big Buddha, a sight that is a must-see for every traveler.The 2-hour Jungle ATV tour and Big Buddha visit is an enjoyable experience overall. However, it is not recommended for those who have never driven an ATV before. The safety instructions are brief and the bikes are not in the best condition. Despite these challenges, the guide is fantastic, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. The routes in the jungle are challenging but offer a great experience. The Big Buddha is a calm and serene location that is well worth a visit. However, the treatment of the elephants at the location is distressing, which unfortunately brings down the overall rating of the experience.
The ATV Seaview On Tour company offers a one-hour ATV tour with a 30-minute visit to the Big Buddha. The pricing is reasonable and the ATVs, although in average condition, provide a unique experience. The guide's English is limited and he can become impatient when the bikes stall. The tour includes a stop at a beautiful clearing with a view of a beach and city below. The visit to the Big Buddha is a beautiful sight, despite the time constraint. The tour ends with a ride down the main road to reception. Despite some minor issues, the tour is great fun and recommended for those with a sense of adventure.
The Big Buddha & Weekend Market tour is not as impressive. The driver seems reluctant and there is no guide or commentary. The tour consists of a lot of waiting around without any explanation. The tour is little more than a drive from one place to another in an old, run-down van with a sullen driver. This tour company is not recommended.
The Big Buddha ATV adventure is another experience that leaves much to be desired. The maintenance on the ATVs is non-existent, making the ride very dangerous. The dirt track is very bumpy and the steering is unresponsive. The condition of the ATVs makes this a very dangerous activity and it is not recommended.
The elephant trek to see the Big Buddha is a distressing experience. The trek consists of looking at rubbish all over the floor and watching the tour guide mistreat the elephant. There is also a baby elephant tied around a tree that is visibly upset, making this a very unpleasant experience.
On a more positive note, quad biking through the jungle is an adventure. Although it only takes 30 minutes, it is a thrilling ride with a guide. It is a great activity for teenagers and there is also a go-kart track and a shooting range. Despite some negative experiences, there are still plenty of adventures to be had.
