The fairways are covered with cow grass that is cut long, making all shots feel like they're played in the rough, even on the fairway. The greens can be slow, requiring players to put in extra effort to sink their balls into the holes. Despite these challenges, the club's restaurant is a highlight, serving tasty food at good prices.

The course has a history, having been played by many over the years. It's considered a value option for golf holidays, with some stunning holes that open up nicely after the initial few.
