The place in question is a site of immense disappointment and heartbreak for many visitors. The primary cause of this distress is the appalling treatment of the resident monkeys. This is not a place for animal lovers or those who believe in the ethical treatment of animals.The conditions in which the monkeys are kept are far from ideal. The place is described as dirty and the monkeys are chained up in a miserable way. The sight of these poor creatures in such a state has left many visitors feeling sad and regretful of their decision to visit. The lack of fixed prices also adds to the negative experience, with the impression that prices are arbitrarily set for different visitors.
Many visitors have reported feeling deceived by their tour guides or drivers who recommended the place. They were expecting to see monkeys in their natural habitat, free to roam and play. Instead, they were confronted with the sight of chained and neglected monkeys. The monkeys are not only chained but also confined in small concrete areas. They have metal rings around their necks which are attached to metal T poles. There are also small rusted and broken cages on the side, presumably where the monkeys are kept at night. The place also offers a show where the monkeys are made to perform tricks. However, the monkeys used in the show are clearly terrified of their trainers and cower on the ground. This blatant display of animal cruelty has left many visitors feeling disgusted and ashamed for supporting such a place. Some visitors have even reported feeling like less of a human being after attending the show.
The place also charges an additional fee for visitors to feed the monkeys. However, this involves throwing banana pieces into the cages, which is not a pleasant experience for either the visitors or the monkeys. After the show, the monkeys are made to ask for tips from the visitors, adding to the overall negative experience.
In conclusion, this place is not recommended for anyone who cares about the welfare of animals. The treatment of the monkeys is cruel and inhumane, and the high admission fee only serves to support this cruelty. The place has left many visitors feeling disgusted, heartbroken, and vowing never to return. It is a place to be avoided at all costs.
