About Phuket Sail Tours

The New Year was welcomed in style with a sailing tour to Phang Nga Bay, organized by Captain Mark and his team. Despite a last-minute booking, the accommodating team ensured a smooth and enjoyable experience. The larger boat, capable of holding up to 40 passengers, was surprisingly spacious with only eight guests on board. This contrasted with other boats that day which appeared to be quite crowded. The tour was a fantastic journey with multiple stopping points where guests were encouraged to disembark on canoes and explore the different bays, cave systems, and lagoons. The friendly boat crew navigated the waters and ensured that everyone had everything they needed at all times. Both breakfast and lunch were served onboard, featuring tasty traditional home-cooked Thai cuisine.

The James Bond Sail Tour was another highlight, offering more than expected. The tour included trips to a variety of amazing lagoons inside the islands, interactions with monkeys, mud skippers, and even bats! The timing of the tour was perfect, allowing guests to enjoy these locations without the usual crowd of tourists. The following morning, a trip to Phi Phi island was organized, featuring great spots for snorkeling and beach relaxation. A big lunch at a nice restaurant was included in the tour, ensuring that guests were well-fed and happy throughout the day.

The tour also offered a private beach experience. Guests were picked up from their hotels in an air-conditioned van and treated to a breakfast at the office before setting off on the 'big boat'. The boat was very spacious, offering a comfortable journey past popular viewing points such as the spot from the James Bond film. The tour then ventured off the beaten track to beautiful and peaceful spots for swimming and exploring amazing caves. Snacks and drinks were provided at certain points of the trip, including chicken and chips, fresh fruit, and a tasty Thai lunch.

The Koh Phi Phi speedboat trip was another well-organized day out. The crew went above and beyond, even taking care of guests' shoes ashore at lunchtime. The lunch provided was plentiful and delicious, and the boat was not crowded, offering a comfortable journey. The Explore Phang Nga Bay tour was also highly recommended, with well-timed stops at locations before they became crowded, and a smooth speedboat ride that was a relief for those prone to seasickness.

The tour to Phang Nga Bay by speedboat exceeded all expectations. The crew was awesome, and the small group of only 10 guests on the speedboat made for a more intimate experience. The tour included exploring caves, kayaking around lagoons, quick photos at James Bond Island, exploring a fishing village where an awesome lunch was served, and stops at a couple of small beaches for snorkeling and swimming.

Phuket Sail Tours (PST) was hired for consecutive tours of the Phang Nga Bay and Phi Phi Islands by speedboat. From the hotel pick up to drop off, everything about this touring company was easy and fun. The guide, Whay, was incredible, making the tour a great way to see the beautiful southern area of Thailand. The team even offered to drop guests off at the Koh Yao Yai pier at the end of the tour, saving them additional travel and taxi fares. This was above and beyond expectations, making PST a highly recommended group for anyone planning a trip to Phuket.
