About Pirate Divers
Pirate Divers is a highly recommended dive centre located in Khao Lak, Thailand. They offer a variety of diving experiences, including two-day trips to the Similan Islands and Richelieu Rock. The team, led by Aleks and Toon, is known for their thorough dive briefings and constant vigilance underwater, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all divers. Brenda, who manages the office front, is praised for her impeccable management skills, keeping divers informed and ensuring they have a great trip.The team at Pirate Divers is highly professional, friendly, and helpful. Despite the limited number of visitors due to the COVID situation, they were able to provide a host of diving options. Aleks, a friendly and knowledgeable Dive Master, is known for his amazing dives on local wrecks and reefs. He shares his photographs with divers and knows the sites so well that he can find interesting things and share stories that make for a fun diving experience.
Divers have had great experiences with Pirate Divers, especially on dives to Richelieu Rock. Brenda is known for her excellent organization skills, providing brand new diving gear for each dive. The diving experience is described as world-class, with Alex, another guide, praised for his professionalism.
For many scuba divers, diving at Richelieu Rock and other sites in the Similan Islands is a bucket list experience. Brenda and Alex are extremely personable and knowledgeable, going above and beyond to ensure a great dive experience. Brenda's 15 years of experience in the area is invaluable in planning dives, with sightings of Giant Manta and Whale Sharks being a highlight. Alex, the Dive Master, is extremely helpful in setting up equipment and offering suggestions to maximize the diving experience. The equipment provided is brand new, making it some of the best rental diving gear available.
Pirate Divers is known for their professionalism and thorough communication, which helps calm the nerves of less experienced divers. They provide trustworthy boats and offer dive insurance at a reasonable price. They are highly recommended for both new and experienced divers.
In addition to diving, Pirate Divers also offers snorkeling trips to the Surin Islands. Brenda is known for her friendly and thoughtful communication, providing honest expectations for various snorkeling sites. The tour guide, Gif, is kind and knowledgeable about the best snorkeling spots. All equipment is provided during the tour, including snorkeling masks, fins, and life jackets. There is also a camera man on board who takes photos of everyone in the group, both onshore and underwater, and edits them into a nice video.
Pirate Divers is known for their great service, even accommodating last-minute diving requests. They provide high-quality equipment and offer some of the best diving experiences, such as at Richelieu Rock where divers have reported seeing a whale shark. Pirate Divers is a highly recommended diving tour operator for anyone visiting Khao Lak, Thailand.
