Rebel Rock Climbing is a great spot for both new and experienced climbers. With over 20 ropes and numerous graded routes, it caters to all levels. The routes are well-graded and maintained, and there is a superb team on hand to guide, belay, and teach. The facility offers a range of cold drinks at good prices, which is helpful as the area has no air conditioning, only fans and open doors. The location by the wake-boarding lake can make it a bit hot and humid, but this should not deter visitors. There is also a good cafe at the wake-boarding center just outside the door.
The climbing gym is a perfect gathering spot for climbers, families, and friends. The atmosphere at Rebel is great, with friendly and experienced climbers inspiring others to push their limits. There is a sense of dedication and camaraderie among the climbers that makes it feel like home. It is a place where everyone can have fun and get what they need from their experience. The gym is located in a lagoon with Anthem wakepark, making it a perfect combination for a day out with family, friends, and pets.
Rebel Rock Climbing is also a great place to hang out. Besides indoor rock climbing and bouldering, the facility is located right beside a lake where visitors can do some cable wakeboarding. The food is great, and the place has a chill vibe, making it a great spot to relax.
The facility is a must-visit regardless of age or experience. With four separate areas for bouldering and two areas of high walls, it offers a good variety of climbs. The staff is fantastic, always ready to share their knowledge or to belay. There is also a viewing area with bean bags and an air-conditioned room for those who need a break from the heat. Free wifi is also available. Next door is the wake park, which is fun to watch and has a small restaurant. There is also a well-priced restaurant at the turn-off by the gate. Rebel Rock Climbing is definitely a place to revisit when in Phuket.
