The traditional Thai massage is a highly recommended experience for any tourist visiting the Sukkumvit area. The massage is not only authentic but also very good, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking to experience the true essence of Thai culture.The Thai massage is not only relaxing but also reasonably priced, making it an excellent choice for those on a short transit. The service is top-notch, ensuring that every visitor gets the best Thai massage experience.
The spa has been a favorite for many over the years, with some patrons visiting every time they are in Bangkok. The staff and masseurs are always pleasant, adding to the overall experience. However, it's worth noting that the shower pressure has decreased over time, which might make it a bit challenging to wash off the oil after an oil massage. Despite this minor setback, the anticipation for the next trip to Bangkok is always high.
The spa has seen some changes over the years, but it remains a top choice for many. In August 2014, a couple had a superb two-hour massage that surpassed their experiences at other spas. The front office is well regulated, the building is well maintained, and the staff is professional and happy. The facilities in the rooms are also satisfactory. While some people might have had unsatisfactory experiences, it's important to approach each visit with a positive mindset.
However, not all experiences have been positive. Some visitors have reported having the worst massage experience of their lives, with the masseuses being unprofessional and potentially harmful. They reported that the masseuses moved their legs in wrong positions, causing them pain and discomfort. Despite informing the manager about their experience, they felt that their concerns were not taken seriously.
Refresh 24 is a mid-range spa in Bangkok, with prices slightly higher than most street shops. The lobby and rooms are decorated to give an upscale feel. However, some visitors have reported having a poor experience, particularly with the oil massage. They felt that the masseuse was poorly trained and that the massage was more painful than relaxing.
Despite some negative experiences, there are countless day spas in Bangkok that offer excellent services. For instance, Refresh 24 offers a fantastic two-hour Swedish Massage that is so good, some visitors book a second two-hour treatment right before their flight home. These are not just massage parlors, but actual day spas that offer a great pampering experience.
