About Sai Thong National Park
The national park in Chaiyaphum province is a delightful destination for those who love nature and outdoor activities. However, visitors should be prepared to bring their own food as there are no restaurants within the park. The park offers a great camping experience, with decent bathroom facilities, although one should note that there is no hot water available.One of the main attractions of this park is the stunning Siam tulip park. The park is adorned with these beautiful flowers, creating a picturesque landscape that is sure to captivate any visitor. Additionally, the park is home to an awe-inspiring cliff, which adds to the overall allure of the place.
The park is located approximately 75 km from Muang Chaiyaphum district, making it a bit of a drive. Therefore, it is recommended that visitors have their own vehicle for transportation. Upon arrival at the visitor center, visitors are required to switch vehicles, for a fee, in order to traverse a waterfall that is about 30-40 cm in depth.
Once at the main destination, visitors will need to walk about 2 km to reach the Siam tulip park. The walk, however, is far from mundane. The path is lined with a lush, beautiful forest that provides a refreshing and serene atmosphere.
The first stop on this journey should be Mor Hum Hod, an amazing cliff that is sure to take your breath away. The cliff is quite intimidating, and can even be a bit scary for some, but the view it offers is absolutely worth it. The national park in Chaiyaphum province is a place of natural beauty and adventure, offering a unique experience that is sure to leave a lasting impression.
