The journey begins at a kiosk on the street in Kata Beach, where the tour is booked. Despite the initial uncertainty and the rain, the day turns out to be beautiful as the boat is boarded. The staff on board are fantastic, helpful, and friendly, offering plenty of water, soda, and snacks. There's even a photographer on board who captures the day's events. The only downside is the less than average lunch on the island and the overpriced bar at the last stop. Despite these minor setbacks, the day is fantastic and leaves a lasting impression.

The Phi Phi island day tour by speedboat with Sea Star is another highlight. The boat is modern, clean, and safe. The staff are amazing, going above and beyond to ensure a great experience. Soft drinks and snacks are supplied all day long, along with a great lunch. The tour itinerary is flexible, changing to fit the tide on the day and to avoid the crowds. The staff, especially the tour leader, are fantastic and great fun, and they are very good with those who suffer from sea sickness.

The Sea Star Similan islands trip is a bit of a mixed bag. The trip starts with a surprise as the number of people on the trip doubles from the expected 30 to 60. The food is not up to par and there are flies everywhere. However, the staff are great, very friendly and attentive. The day is long, lasting 12 hours, so be prepared.

The tour to Raya island is one of the best. Despite being one of the more expensive tours, it is worth every penny. The guide is brilliant and speaks excellent English. The island is gorgeous and the lunch provided is very good, with a large choice and seating provided in a restaurant. There are stops at Pirate Bay and Banana Bay, both beautiful and great for snorkeling. The guides are helpful and ensure everyone enjoys themselves. The day ends with a dolphin sighting, a fantastic end to a fantastic day. Snacks, drinks, and fruit are provided all day.

The SeaStar day trip to the James Bond Islands and other islands in Phang Nga Bay is one of the best experiences. The company treats its guests like kings, providing excellent service from the minute the trip is booked to the time they return to the hotel. The lunch is excellent and snacks and water are always available. The guide is great, making everyone feel comfortable and safe. Phang Nga Bay is a must-see, with its beauty beyond words.

The James Bond Island/Khai Island tour and Similan Islands tour are also great experiences. The guides are wonderful and entertaining, and the islands are beautiful. The guides and their helpers take great care of the guests, offering snacks and drinks throughout the day. The lunch at the Panyee Muslim village is a bit bland, but the breakfast buffet offered is simple and delicious. The Similan Islands tour is a bit crowded and the boat ride is long and rocky, but the islands themselves are gorgeous. The lunch on the main island is okay, but the quantity of food and snacks is plentiful. The only downside is the stray dogs at the Khao Lak pier, which can be off-putting. Despite these minor setbacks, the tours are a great experience and highly recommended.
