The SF Cinema at CentralWorld has been a popular destination for movie-goers, but it seems to have its fair share of issues. One of the most notable problems is the staff's attitude. A family's experience was soured by the rudeness of the staff at the popcorn counter on level 9. The staff member was not only impolite in his responses but also filled the popcorn box unevenly with different flavors. He even slammed the popcorn box and drink on the counter, further ruining the family's experience. The staff member also refused to accept cash payment, insisting on card payment due to a lack of change. This experience has deterred the family from visiting the cinema again.

Theater 3 in the cinema has also been a cause for concern due to its extremely cold temperature. Despite complaints and requests to increase the temperature, the issue was not resolved. One patron was even told that the theater had a temperature problem that could not be fixed. When the patron decided to leave and asked for a refund, a female manager rudely refused, stating that there was nothing she could do about the temperature. The patron felt that the cinema should have disclosed the state of the theater to its patrons, especially since people were coughing and sneezing due to the cold.

The First Class Cinema 1, located at the top floor of CentralWorld, is a modern and good-looking cinema. However, the food offered in the lounge was not up to the expected standard for a First Class cinema. The staff were also described as cold and unfriendly. Inside the cinema, there was an unpleasant smell that made the experience less enjoyable. The QR Code on the ticket for ordering popcorn and drinks was also not working, further dampening the cinematic experience.

Another issue was the lack of footrests in theater 14, which made the seating less comfortable compared to theater 11. The movie soundtrack was also out of sync with the picture, making the movie unwatchable. When a refund was requested, the cinema initially refused and only offered a voucher valid for three months. After much arguing, the cinema agreed to a refund, but the experience left a bad taste.

The cinema also has a peculiar policy where patrons cannot buy a single ticket. They are required to buy a pair of tickets, which can be seen as discriminatory towards lone movie-goers.

Despite these issues, the cinema has its merits. Located on the last floor of CentralWorld, this multiplex cinema is considered one of the best in Bangkok. It offers 4D and IMAX options, large screens, and superb sound quality. The ticket prices start at around 220/240 THB per person. For a little extra, patrons can enjoy a drink, popcorn, and a comfortable sofa seating with a blanket provided.

The cinema also boasts a great variety of movies and the 4DX cinema experience is highly praised. However, there are suggestions for the cinema to team up with more banks for the First Class cinema. Despite the issues, the SF Cinema at CentralWorld still has potential to provide a good cinematic experience if the management addresses the problems effectively.
