About Silom Complex

Silom Complex is a popular destination for both locals and tourists alike. It's a place where one can find all the basic necessities, from groceries to clothing. The complex is conveniently located in the heart of Bangkok, making it a frequent stop for those staying in the Silom, Surawong, and Patpong areas. Over the years, the complex has seen significant improvements, transforming into a clean, bright, and bustling hub filled with a variety of stores on every level.

The complex is not just a shopping center, but a place to relax and refuel. It houses a plethora of coffee shops and restaurants, making it a perfect spot to take a break from shopping. The Central Department Store is a major attraction, offering a wide range of products. The complex is also conveniently connected to the BTS station at Sala Daeng, making it easily accessible. Despite its compact size, the complex is easy to navigate and comfortable, although it can get quite busy at times.

One of the unique features of the Silom Complex is the Umeno Cafe, located in the basement near the supermarket entrance. This small cafe offers a unique dining experience where patrons can make their own tofu. Despite some initial service hiccups, the cafe has become a popular spot due to its substantial menu and the novelty of its do-it-yourself tofu dishes. The cafe is also conveniently located in the center of town, making it a perfect spot to combine dinner with a trip to the bank or grocery shopping.

The Silom Complex is a modern shopping mall with a variety of offerings. It houses numerous restaurants, clothing shops, and dessert and drink stalls. While not everything is cheap, the complex regularly holds sales, making it a great place to snag a bargain. The mall is owned by the Central Group and features a Central Department Store. Despite not being as large as some of Bangkok's other mega malls, the Silom Complex is a welcome addition to the area.

The complex is organized into six floors, each dedicated to different types of stores. The basement floor is dedicated to food, housing a variety of restaurants and cafes. The ground floor is a mix of fashion and accessories outlets, health and beauty outlets, and food outlets. The second floor houses notable brands like Swarovski, Body Shop, and American Tourister, among others. The third floor is mostly dedicated to book stores and clinics, while the fourth floor consists of more restaurants, banks, and other establishments. The fifth floor houses more banks, clinics, and spas.

For those who prefer self-catering during their holiday, the Tops Supermarket in the complex is a must-visit. The supermarket offers a fantastic selection of food items, including fruit, salads, hot foods, and bakery items. Whether you're a local resident or a tourist visiting Bangkok, the Silom Complex offers a convenient and enjoyable shopping experience.
