Tucked away in a secluded corner, this beach is a hidden gem with only a few resorts dotting its landscape. It's not a very long stretch of sand, but it's perfect for those seeking tranquility and a place to unwind. The beach is quiet, ideal for those who want to chill out and enjoy the serene surroundings. One of the best aspects of this beach is that it's not crowded with boats, providing an unobstructed view of the sea. However, visitors should note that it's not the best spot to catch the sunset.The beach is truly lovely and beautiful. A little walk away from the entrance, away from the dogs lounging around, one can find a spot with fewer people. This is the perfect place to soak in the relaxing vibes. It's recommended to arrive before 6:30 pm local time to witness the beginning of the sunset.
However, the beach tends to get packed at sunset, and the facilities are limited. The prices for drinks can be quite high. It's a decent spot for an early evening stroll, but it might not be worth going out of your way to visit.
For those looking for a great beach with some snorkeling opportunities, this is the place to be. But be cautious of the shifting currents, especially if you're visiting with children. The Zodiac Bar nearby is a great spot for some chill music and refreshments. The beach is easily accessible from anywhere on the island for a fare of 50 baht, making it a convenient option.
While the beach is a popular spot for watching the sunset, there are other beaches that might be better suited for swimming and relaxing. The area is bustling with snorkeling tours and ferries leaving from nearby. The beach can get quite stony at low tide and can be a bit noisy. However, there are plenty of bars and restaurants in the vicinity.
Many consider this to be the best beach in Thailand, with its clear sea, white sand, and lush hills in the background. It's an incredibly beautiful place, especially during the New Year holiday. It can get a bit crowded during the last days of December, but it's quite enjoyable for the rest of the stay. Snorkeling is highly recommended, and don't forget to enjoy a mojito after 3 pm.
However, some visitors have reported that the beach can be dirty and full of rubbish. The road leading to the beach is not easy to walk, so it might not be worth the effort to visit.
