A family of five, with three teenagers and young adults, had an unforgettable evening with their hosts, Son and his charming wife Tien. The evening began with a tour of the marketplace where Son taught them how to select the best ingredients for their dishes. This was followed by a visit to their personal organic garden where they got to learn about various herbs, leaves, and raw materials. The family then prepared a four-course meal consisting of noodles, Thai curry, soup, and dessert, guided by Son through their personal choice of dishes. The food was delicious and the experience was extraordinary. Son and Tien were attentive, patient, and supportive of their amateur attempts. This experience is highly recommended, especially if food is an important aspect of your life and holidays.

The Thai cooking class is excellent, providing personal attention and guidance during cooking. The class includes a market visit to explain ingredient use and show the variety and use of ingredients. The facility is great with all utensils provided. The food is delicious with extra to take to the hotel after. The timing of the class and cooking of six different dishes within the time frame is well managed. This class is highly recommended for any Chiang Mai visit. You can even get advice on other dishes.

The cooking class is a lovely experience with lovely people. The class starts with a pick-up from the hotel, followed by a visit to a local market with the chef. After the market visit, there is a tour of the garden where you get a lot of information about different plants. The dishes are prepared according to your preferences. The evening is enjoyable with a lot of lovely dishes to eat. The hosts are really nice people and if you get a chance to come back, you would want to book this course again.

The cooking class at the Thai Garden Farm is an amazing experience. Son and his wife Tien are warm and welcoming people. The class starts with a little market tour at the outskirts of Chiangmai, followed by a drive to the farm which is around 20 minutes outside the city. Son takes you on a little tour through his farm and you get to harvest fresh herbs and vegetables for your meals. The cooking takes place in a big kitchen-dining area with an open floor plan, offering a perfect authentic setting. The food is delicious, especially the sticky rice with mango. You learn a lot about Thai life and you will never forget this day and this beautiful family.

The cooking class is a must if you are visiting Chiang Mai. Son picks you up from your hotel and drives you to a local food market. At the market, he tells you all about Thai ingredients. After the market, he drives you to his farm and walks you through his kitchen garden. The cooking takes place in his beautiful and spotlessly clean kitchen where you meet his wife. You get to make a variety of dishes and learn about preparing different types of rice. Son is patient and a good teacher. The food is the best you will eat in Thailand. You are also given your own cookbook with all the recipes to take away with you. This place is run by two of the nicest people you will meet in Thailand.

The Thai cooking experience is highly recommended. Son and Tien are very prompt to reply on email and give you all the information you need. You are picked up from your accommodation and driven to a Thai market where you learn a lot about Thai food, rice, vegetables, sauces, and meat. You then drive to Son and Tien's home, which is absolutely beautiful. You spend the day cooking and learning. You get to eat your food throughout the day and chat with Son and Tien who speak English very well. You learn a lot about different food around the world, and Thai culture. Upon departure, you are given a recipe book, so you can now cook Thai food for your families at home.

The cookery school is an amazing place to visit. You get to visit the markets, have a cookery lesson, eat lovely food, and have a garden tour. The host is fantastic, very friendly, and very knowledgeable. This is a highly recommended activity if you are visiting Chiang Mai.
